We had a phenomenal dinner at The Parlour Inn, I highly recommend it. I really should've taken some pictures of the food but I was too excited to eat it. 3 course dinner, caesar salad (all made in house), my wife had the steak with veggies and mashed potatoes, I had the prime rib, which was HUGE, with a loaded baked potato and veggies. To finish it all off we had their pavlova, which is a big soft and light cloud of meringue with a lemon custard, and raspberry puree. The price was very reasonable for what we got. To make our night even better Leslie (our server) brought my wife a bunch of their exclusive roses and wished us a happy anniversary. I can't say enough good about our experience, our dinner at the Parlour Inn was the highlight of our weekend.
Incredible dinner at The Parlour Steakhouse tonight with family and family visiting from Holland. They gave us beautiful private room where we could talk and visit. The food was amazing and our waitress even more so , friendly, warm, and efficient. Wonderful meal here! Thankyou!!
Good meal and decent value. Is give 4.5/5 if partial grades were permitted. Appetizers were nice - standard quality Caesar salad and pumpkin soup. Mains were also good - beef tenderloin cooked to a proper medium rare but it was cold by the time it waited for the fries, breaded chicken with corn pancakes came with a delicious corn salsa, smoked pork tenderloin was the same - good not great. Desserts were the highlight of the meal -especially the pavlova. Nothing particularly wrong with any part of the meal, just nothing hit it out of the park.
Don't order the Pork Tenderloins unless you have the appetite of 10 year old girl. We went to the Parlour Steakhouse with 3 other couples before seeing a show at the Avalon Theater. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. I ordered the Pork Tenderloin figuring that it would be of similar size to the 8 oz steak since it was priced the same at $26. Was I ever wrong. There wasn't 3 ounces of meat in the entire dish. Two small pieces of dry pork total that didn't add up to even 4 small bites served with crushed tomatoes and Kale that where bland at best. The worst part was the jokes from the other couples at the table offering to take up a collection from their plates to add to mine as it was so obviously lacking, Had to stop at a take out on the way out of town to fill up enough to make the trip home.
