I am rating this store with Craig and Jess as extremely poor because of the unethical way my son was treated in the very short time he was employed. He is a minor and has a non visible learning disability. My son was let go shortly after the old manager left. We had made several attempts through the new manager to speak with the owner Craig regarding his dismissal. We would have appreciated a call if he did something wrong they could have at least been explained. or have spoken to my son prior to his dismissal if there were any concerns or issues. They did not. As it seems there was a major communication breakdown with the new manager not given the information regarding his difficulties. All we were asking for is a phone call. We did not get it. This is something that should have been addressed as we want all youth to be treated equal and given a chance to succeed no matter what barrier they face. This is totally unacceptable to treat any young person in his first job. Can I say anymore?? how would you feel if your son was treated like this?
I bought 2 Canadian Tire cards from No Frills Stratford and when I checked my receipt one scanned as an LCBO card. I went back to the store and they wouldn't refund the card even though it scanned as an LCBO card right in front of them again. They kept the card I bought and asked me to come back the next day. The next morning I tried calling customer service to call the store to see if the issue was sorted. They would not give me the store number or call the store to check for me.In the end I had to drive across town 3 times until they had the issue sorted. I got the replacement gift card but no compensation for having to drive 3 times across town (20-25min round trip). I know there is an issue with gift card fraud, but I had a legitimate issue and was treated like the problem was all mine. Customer service and store staff could have been so much more helpful...couldn't even give me the store number to call?Very poor customer service.
You took our boxes!???? And carts are $1 I think I'll take my business elsewhere and get fresher food.
Clean, easy to find stuff. Needs more dairy free options, also needs more vegetarian & vegan friendly options as well (gardein brand, beyond meat brand, more yves brand etc)
Re: Devon Peters review: this is disgusting and the owners should be ashamed to say the least! Totally unacceptable! Kids, ALL KIDS are our future! Shame on you. Good luck Devon with your son and hopefully your son will find a better job with compassionate employers that are willing to work with him rather than discard him!! Im disgusted!!
