Amazing customer service! Willing to do what you need to do to make your purchase exactly the way you want it. I walked in looking for an engagement ring, nervous as hell. The staff made the customizing of the ring and the purchase so easy. They kept in touch through the whole process and genuinely happy, excited and thankful. Thank you all for everything. She loved it and said YES!
The staff are absolutely amazing! And the custom rings we had made were absolutely perfect. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else, especially with such great prices too. How anyone goes to those big box jewellery stores when you have gems like this is beyond crazy.
Avoid this shop, unless you're a tourist. I'm a new resident to Stratford and needed some simple jewelry maintenance and some custom work done. Based on the reviews I went to Swanson's - what a mistake. The person I dealt with (older female) was totally uninterested in what I needed and seemed preoccupied with the tourists that were in the shop. I needed three watches fitted with batteries, a ring re-sized and a custom rework of a sentimental ring - all in a fair bit $$$. She left with the watches and came back with one of the faces cracked and diamond off its setting. When I brought it to her attention she tried saying that I brought it in that way - NO WAY!!!! I left everything there to get done, and to get a quote on the custom work. Their quote came in 20% higher than Konrad's (down the street at 16 Ontario St.) and Konrad's quote included larger stones and better design. When I returned to Swanson's to pick up the repaired watch (they covered the cost), the original salesperson didn't even acknowledge my presence. Very strange experience overall!!!
