Bell website advertises Smartwatch standalone plan and clearly states (per picture attached) that I can be with another service provider. I called the contact centre on Friday, and they told me to visit the store. I went to the store and the younger men working were unable to assist but advised their manager would be in next day, Saturday. I made an appointment for 11 AM, fully explaining the situation in the notes. I went home, and I try to call the contact centre again and they hang up on me in the midst of me explaining that their website says they offer the plan. I arrive Saturday for my appointment and the manager is not able to assist. She claims it’s not possible. This directly contradicts the website. Extremely disappointed that either a) the Bell website is falsely advertising, or b) the call centre employees and Stratford store manager are so poorly trained I’ve never had such a terrible customer experience in all of my years. “You can activate your Apple Watch on a Standalone plan even if your iPhone is with another service provider (visit a store or contact us if you’re new to Bell).”
