I was glad to have found some Camper sandals here! Although I felt like I was annoying the staff by trying on different sizes. Not super welcoming or friendly but they do have some good finds.
This was such a pleasant surprise on the busy, touristy shoppes main drag in Stratford. CAMPER shoes. Pull-on boots. Lots of different hats.Socks. Racks and racks of reading and sunglasses. Nothing fancy and not cheap but top notch and great selection and worth the price FR. Will come back here again.
The most eclectic store in Stratford! Helen’s Green Room started as a music store, dates back many decades ago, but is on top of today’s fashion accessories and trends. Wanting to be the favourite ?? Look no further than this store for the perfect gifts. It has a cowboy vibe with hats and boots; a ballet classic with skirts and slippers; Venice masquerade inside the Stratford home, and just overall items that invariably elicit exclamations of awestruck from shoppers. One can spend hours in Helen’s Green Room, enchanted by treasure and finds. Every time I go there I would like to stay longer.
Very unique store. We've been going for years and are always sure to drop in when we're in town. Usually it's my wife who makes a purchase, but this year I acquired a hat and a shoulder bag.
I really love this store. I make an effort to actually shop here whenever I'm in town. I had an experience today that left me annoyed. I bought a pair of shoes on sale. Made a comment about what a great find to the owner at checkout. Her response was well "I hope we are still in business next time you come in" in a rude tone. I took it as a "thanks for buying our sale stuff only" comment. Made me think of all the times I have tried to shop at this store over the years but they were closed. Firstly closed Sundays...thats one of the 2 main shopping days in stratford so maybe if you actually stayed open you might sell stuff at full price instead of having to clearance them out. They are also closed Mondays. Only open 11-6pm Tuesday to Saturday. When do people get a chance to shop after work on a weekday if you close at 6? There's no online shopping option at all. They also close entire months in the summer and winter for a break. Fine. I get it we all need a break but you lose business when you're closed obviously. So ..anyway long story short. Maybe stop making petty rude comments to customers and stay open so customers can actually shop! .That way you wouldn't need to clearance everything off just to stay afloat.

How absolutely RUDE. I stopped into the green room today and will NOT ever be returning as a loca customer. I am all about supporting local businesses in Stratford, as it is my home town. But I have NEVER been so disappointed in the integrity and feel sorry for extreme lack of respect in this particular business. I had the intention to purchase a pair of Hunter Boots today, and I was most definitely mistreated and neglected as a customer. I was welcomed by the store associate which is obviously expected in ANY shop one would go to... I looked around to see the other selections they had and about 5 minutes afterward, had some questions about the sizes and styles. No one was around to offer help, except the owner working away at something at the till. I excused myself for interrupting her and asked if the boots at the front were the last styles and sizes left and she disrespectfully said no, there are other sizes, and turned her back to me. I was STUNNED. I said, oh, I guess I will look elsewhere and she replied yes. How poor! I guess The Bay will gladly and respectfully take my 220$ I would have spent in your store today! Will never be a customer of the Green Room again. So disappointed in this.
Stop in for an amazing experience. You never know what's lurking around the next corner. So many interesting items
